What was your role and involvement with Pioneers of Change?

I was based in Johannesburg in the early 2000’s for a year and helped coordinate social change initiatives with Mille Bojer and Sera Thompson.

What has your journey been since your time with Pioneers of Change?

I returned to Perth, Australia where I grew up and realised that I’m passionate about sustainability and protecting the environment. I’ve been working at a local level of government in regard to environmental sustainability and community beahviour change for the past 13 years.

What values, lessons, or experiences from Pioneers of Change have stayed with you?

Follow your heart is a big one. As well as embracing the chaos.

What advice would you give to today’s young changemakers as they navigate their own paths?

Find your passion and work in that area whether it’s through paid work or voluntary work.
