What was your role and involvement with Pioneers of Change?

What has your journey been since your time with Pioneers of Change?

I've started Impact Hub Rotterdam (thanks to the connection with the founders of the first Hub in Islington, London, through Pioneers of Change) and I'm still working as a conflict transformator, using the Lewis Deep Democracy method, another connection through Pioneers of Change.

What values, lessons, or experiences from Pioneers of Change have stayed with you?

That community matters so much. That systemic change is something we can understand and support in our collective wisdom and actions. That people whom I have met 25 years ago, from all over the world, are still very similar to me and always close to my heart.

What advice would you give to today’s young changemakers as they navigate their own paths?

Connect with others, build a community of likeminded spirits, support each other, take time to share and learn, be brave and just start, although it is not perfect, it will never be. Learn facilitation skills. Have fun and enjoy the process!
